BBCiplayer and playlist issue
Just recently I've noticed when I select a bbc programme from my playlist instead of taking me directly to the show as usual all it does is open up iplayer on the home page then I have to search for the show again within iplayer ?

Re: BBCiplayer and playlist issue
Hi @slaters This is a recent problem which as of yesterday is being investigated by Sky. Have a look at this THREAD for some other posts on the issue.
Instead of having to search for the programme you want, if you close the iplayer and then select the programme again from your playlist or continue watching rail it will work correctly this time.

Re: BBCiplayer and playlist issue
That's another issue lately I've had the continue watching feature. If I go back to a show I've started when I select it sometimes it starts again from the beginning I've noticed this especially on bbc and Ch5 ,?
What's going on with Sky Glass so many issues at the moment, its very poor !

Hi @slaters I can't say I have noticed that but maybe with the iPlayer it is linked to the same problem as above. The Ch5 app is pretty poor at the best of times IMHO.
I tend to do a periodic reboot even if I am not having any issues (once every 7-10 days). I look at this as a maintenance measure in an attempt to stop minor niggles evolving into major ones. Whether or not this actually does anything I don't really know but I seem to have less issues since I started doing it.

Re: Watching BBC iPlayer Programmes In My Playlist
This has started happening very recently and is REALLY annoying! Might as well just use iPlayer on YouView. Just another irritation with Sky Stream that makes me question whether contract renewal is sensible.
Thanks for the tip on how to correct it.

Re: Watching BBC iPlayer Programmes In My Playlist
Hi @IRGWR11 I have found that when you select a programme and it takes you to the homepage of the iPlayer All if I just hit the home button on my remote and select it again you are taken to the programme you want to watch.
I had been backing right out of the app before selecting the programme for the second time, so this is a new shortcut.

Re: Watching BBC iPlayer Programmes In My Playlist
Good news, the iPlayer issue seems to be resolved. I have had no problems with it this morning when selecting from either the Playlist or Continue Watching rail 😀

Re: Watching BBC iPlayer Programmes In My Playlist
Yes, it's fixed for me now.
If I click to watch a programme, it opens iplayer, makes me click ok to login and then brings up the page with the programme and I have to click start watching.
I'd prefer that it just went straight to playing the programme from the playlist instead of having to press ok three times, but it's so much better than it was.
