I am trying to watch different games on Sky Sports + but i receive an error code WGT8 (Texhnical Issue please try later). I have reset my puck to update the software but it still does not work. Any suggestions please??

This problem normally means your software isn't up to date. I suggest:
1. Switch the puck to standby and unplug from the wall socket.
2. Plug it back in and make sure you leave it for at least 30 minutes in use, or on standby.
3. Put the puck back on to standby, and then switch off at the plug. There's no need to unplug from the wall this time.
4. Switch on and you should be on the new firmware.
Then try Sky Sports+ again and let me know how you get on.

Hi, I called the support team yesterday and they also suggested updating the software. Having already done that on Tuesday there was little else I could do but unfortunately there was no way of checking as there were no live events on SS+ at the time of my call. Regardless it was working last night so can only assume it took a while for the update to take effect.

@Chloe-W22 Just for clarification a RESTART power cycle can't complete a software update BUT a manual plug power cycle can complete a software update?
