Ted's Notebook not available on catch-up

After many F1 events that I've missed live, I can't watch on catch up later (for some time). E.g. today it shows Ted's Notebook as having been recorded at 3.30, and when it will next be shown live, but is not available on catch up six hours later. I can sometimes see it if I can find it on the future schedule and select it, but you'd think they would have sorted this out by now

@Tim_B  Are you not able to select the program before hand and add it to your Playlist it should then be there later when you want to watch it?

I have added the series to the playlist (not the individual program) and it appears in my playlist find. It just doesn't play when you select it.

@Tim_B  Do any other previous shows work when you select it?  If it is just the most recent one, especially if it is from a streaming service it may not have been realised yet as some only realise them once a week.  I'm not convinced that is the answer but you could check by going onto the streaming services website and trying it that way.  Alternatively go to 'Settings' and System management, Resets & updates, and Restart device.  Then try again.

Select Teds Notebook

Scroll down and pan across to the Other tab
Yesterdays Qualy Teds notebook sits there on race weekends and yesterdays plays out fine.

I had the same problem but found it in the other series rather than series 1 at the top, may be worth checking there

Thanks for the tips. The programmes always appear within 24 hours, but I'm looking for a service that replicates Sky Q which of course will record on the fly and give immediate access. It's so often the case that you have to miss a race and want to catch up on it before you find out the results elsewhere

This caught me out initially when I moved to Stream and noticed that for some reason they tag Teds Notebook incorrectly on the live broadcast and they update it within 24 hours so it then moves to the front of the playlist.

It really is quite annoying having to scroll through all the episodes to find the latest one ( particularly when the blue tracking progress disappears from older episodes you have watched).

The On demand of Teds notebook ( qualy, sprint and  main race) gets loaded in a number of  hours or so to On demand, think it's a lot less than 24 hours.

If added to playlist on Sky Stream it is added to playlists straight after the live broadcast has aired as a cloud recording.

The main race Teds notebook (cloud recording) is there on Sky Stream now and has also dropped into Others tab, as it always does. It will drop into the Series tab along with the previous season events when the On demand version is loaded across Sky platforms (Sky Q, Sky Stream/Glass and Sky Go etc) and the Sky Stream version cloud recording then switches to that.

The Sky Stream cloud programme always adds about ten mins of the previous programme to it, so it's normally about 40 mins or so, whereas the On demand only shows the Teds notebook programme of 30 or so minutes.

Well on that topic, if a race ending gets delayed then Ted's Notebook is often just the end of chequered flag discussions and will have little or any of the actual program, and this is for hours afterwards. Again someone must be on hand to adjust this sooner?

In theory you shouldn't have to go scrolling through the episodes on the playlist to find the latest "cloud recorded" version of Ted Notebook though, it should be tagged appropriately so that it appears as the latest epsiode and at the top of the list, rather than having to wait for them to replace with the on-demand epsiode to ensure the series and episode tag is correct on it.

The live f1 broadcasts don't have this problem on the playlsit so in theory neither should Ted's Notebook.
