TP Deco and Sky Stream issues
I’ve recently set up a TP-Link Deco mesh system for our Wi-Fi, and after a couple of days I noticed that our Sky Stream box has been intermittently losing its wireless internet connection. I should also note that I have replaced the router with the Deco rather than using the Deco as a booster.
I’d prefer not to use an Ethernet cable between the Deco and the Sky stream as that wouldn’t be convenient, so I’m hoping to avoid that if possible.
I keep getting there wasa techincal fault or it just saying it's not connected!
Please help!

Re: TP Deco and Sky Stream issues
I had the same I found out off someone that you need to create an IOT network on your mesh. It's in the Deco settings. Connect your Sky puck to this. I set mine so it always connects using 5ghz. It was fine after that.

Re: TP Deco and Sky Stream issues
Thank you - would you try to use the Enternet cable if possible as a better fix or not?

Deco user here!
I connected all my Glass TVs via Ethernet and the issue still occasionally occurred. However, it was much rarer. Since assigning each TV a static IP address the problem has disappeared.
Before switching to Ethernet, I’d recommend trying the IoT Network. I’ve never used this approach before.

Re: TP Deco and Sky Stream issues
Launch the Deco app, click More > Advanced > Address Reservation. Click on the plus in top right and choose the Select from Client option. Then locate your Glass or Stream device and select it.
