Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

@Mockenrue  @Keith+Harris

When you say they removed yout TNT and re added it, I take it this didn't affect your contract or price ?

Is it just a case of take it off and back on as it was before. I am going to call them later just want to have a bit of info before I do.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

That's correct, it doesn't affect the price, although its due to go up to £34 around July time.

Worked out I have now got 2 HBO accounts - one with free Sky offer that does not include TNT sports and one with TNT sports without HBO.

What a nightmare, Does anyone know if there is a way to combine into one account with Sky HBO and TNT sports?

Go to https://help.hbomax.com/ or just email their support email (Sky won't let me type it in:  support.uk at hbomax.com)

Raise a support ticket, telling them the usernames of your two HBO accounts, the one you want to keep and the subscriptions that you're entitled to.

They seemed pretty proactive to me earlier today, although I was able to sort it out myself.

TNT not ported to HBO max

I registered for the HBO max app pretty easily using the same discovery+ login details and the app is available on the TV properly.

I pay for TNT sports through SKY and this is no longer available in HBO and it just says 'get access'

Same in the phone app.

Ive been going round in circles trying to get this sorted. Any ideas who can help me here ?

Re: TNT not ported to HBO max

Thanks , yes I've only got one email so they are the same for both apps for sure.

Just double checked and they match.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

May or may not be useful to some but I have just come off a call with SKY, after going around in circles about it with the dreaded bot.

I have TNT Sports with SKY.

I activated HBO Max today (27 March) via SKY and the HBO Max app showed it had been set up using the SKY details and I have access to the standard (with ads) plan at no cost, and I tried out some of the HBO content and it worked fine. So far so good.

I had also expected my TNT Sports subscription to be carried across so I could watch it on HBO Max, but the HBO app did not recognise I had the subscription and I could not access the TNT Sports content, it advised me to go into my SKY account and manage it from there. I checled my SKY account and I definitely had TNT Sports subscription as active.

Eventually, the SKY advisor said the TNT subscription data is still being transferred. hence why not showing in HBO Max yet. They did not specify when this would be done but I would receive an email when ready.

Hopefully this will happen soon.

Just a pity that SKY (nor TNT for that matter) did not set my expectation on this, I had assumed all would be ready on launch day (yesterday).

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

Same problem for me called sky they don't have a solution for the problem getting back to me. Quite frankly not bloody good enough for a service I'm paying a lot for

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

I've decided to login to the Sky Q HBO Max App with my Discovery plus account that has a BT/EE subscription and use the Sky Q account to login to HBO for the freebie Sky subscription on my other devices smart tv, phone, iPad,.  This way the TNT Sky channels 410 have access to the TNT Red button extras. What a mess.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

Yes that's right, the Sky rep did it while I waited on the phone - the whole process took little more than a minute and was seamless from my end. No changes other than the addition of the 'HBO Max TNT Sports' content pack/app subscription. She even said her own account was similarly affected and that she would probably have to do the same with it.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

John - had same problem - as my post above.

SKY says TNT subscriptions not migrated across to HBO Max yet. Will be later, no date given

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max

Hi @RossyRossy

Do you have TNT Sports via an EE Mobile Plan?

I've TNT Sports Ultimate as part of my Full Works for iPhone Plan.

I have an issue, I'll get to that another time. When I log into HBO Max with my Discovery Plus/TNT Ultimate details it says I'm billed through, Discovery Communications Benelux B.V.

Thanks in Advance

Barry 🙂
