Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
MrsEssBee Unfortunately this doesnt work for me. When I go to the HBO app on Sky Q there is no option to enter my 2nd old Discovery/TNT email as I have already activated with the Sky one. I suspect your first activation failed hence why you have been able to do it again with correct details.

No my first activition didn't fail. If you select 'sign out' then reopen the app on Sky you can enter another log in.

@Neil+Ross wrote:I have Sky Q and TNT Sports via BT/EE. Sky announced the HBO Max free and I signed up with ny Sky email. Went to watch TNT sports on the 410 channel and all appeared OK until I pressed the red button and was taken to HBO Max. Guess what - no TNT Sport in the App.
Worked out I have now got 2 HBO accounts - one with free Sky offer that does not include TNT sports and one with TNT sports without HBO.What a nightmare, Does anyone know if there is a way to combine into one account with Sky HBO and TNT sports?
Yes if you can change your BT/EE login details to be the same as your Sky login, if you can do that when you log in you will have both though they are separate accounts.
Unfortunately its not as simple as that, it wont allow a change to a different email address as it sees one already exists with those details so blocks the change. Im beginning to think this cannot be resolved. Sky have now told me its an EE problem, not sure why that would be?

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
They need to be different - sky account is in my hisband's name/email and my mobile (EE) in mine with my email. But regardless of that, got it to work adding a second HBO account.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
As I understand it you can ask EE for a reactivation to link to your Sky HBO account using your Sky HBOMax login ONLY if you have TNT Sports associated with an EE Broadband account with EETV. This worked in my situation but EE/HBO are still working on a way to combine a TNT Sports mobile account with an already activated Sky HBO account.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I've tried this but it wont link the accounts. I can sign in via the Sky Q app using both accounts, but only one has the TNT Sports access the other has HBO Max Basic with ads. there doesnt seem to be a way to link the two together. Ive tried what MrsEssBee has suggested but that just signs mne in to the 'other' account so still have to switch between the 2 when wanting to watch Sports. Ive tried signing out then going back in but no option to link the two together. Most people/companies now suggesting that TNT Sports needs to be deactivated at EE then reactivated using the 'new' email address. Anyone succesfully done this?

Hi trevforum,
If you hear any news on whether this will be implemented. please post here to help others. Thanks

If you have TNT Sports with EETV connected with an EE broadband account you can send an email to eetvsupport your broadband account number and ask it to be reset. You should get a confirmation email. (had to format the email address to be allowed add ee.co.uk)
I then went into the EE app and manage TV/Sport and it had HBO Max TNT sports needs to be activated follow the instructions to reactivate it but make sure you use the same email as your sky HBO account. This worked for me but if you have a mobile add on they are still working on that.
To reiterate will only work if you have TNT Sports associated with EE Broadband and EETV. TNT sports via a mobile add on can't be done this way at the moment.

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Hi
Did you get access to TNT on the HBO max app ?
I've been on holiday so only just back to this.
I've been on the phone to sky and they say in order to get tnt on the app I need to upgrade to premium HBO at £14.99 a month, as basic with ads hbo wouldn't work.
At least it now seems to work on the TV itself.

@SteffD That's wrong if you are paying sky for tnt sports on your sky hardware channels 410,411,,413,414 then access to TNT sports via hbo max is included at no extra cost

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
I give up then
this whole thing has been handled badly to say the least, as long as I can get it on TV it isn't the end of the world.
I cancelled tnt on sky a few weeks ago. Once I lose access I'll probably try subscribe again and see if it works properly or else just do it via HBO to avoid all this hassle.
I've noticed the basic with ads doesn't allow downloads so premium would be what I would prefer anyway.
I only tend to do TNT for the second half of the football season anyway as it's so expensive in my eye but is good value when there's a lot of crunch games 😀

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Glad I'm not the only one with issues with linking TNT to the app. Sky have been absolutely no help whatsoever, they said loads of things like....
it'll sort itself out,
HBO max TNT sports isn't a thing unless you pay for it.
I need to upgrade to premium to get it.
they need to send a manual push to get it activated.
I even saw a comment about removing TNT sports and readd it, all that did is mess up my bill amount and made my end date for TNT 5 days later than the rest of my Sky package.
I used the same login for Discovery+ and HBO max and on my Discovery+ app it still showed ad lite with sports, I've since shut that account down and removed from my Sky package as I don't use it and even that hasn't helped matters. I only have HBO max with ads and when I click on TNT section all I get is "get access" nothing on MySky app or App subscriptions about HBO max TNT sports, so after everything I have basic with ads and no one at Sky knows what they're doing.
Has anyone that had the same issue actually got this fixed and if so, how? As I'm losing my mind

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Hey. Yeah I gave up in the end and cancelled it via sky.
I then subscribed directly with HBO on the rolling monthly plan and was able to access everything on the apps (only) which works better for me, even on the TV itself.
I wasn't able to watch TNT on the actual tv channel (whatever that was) as it never linked to my HBO subscription but it didn't really matter, and I don't have time or the patience to argue it out on the phone with sky.
Since cancelled but that was always going to happen after the football season ended 🙂

Re: TNT Sport migration to HBO Max
Yeah can see myself having to cancel TNT sports on Sky and removing HBO max basic as I don't use it anyway. Maybe readd TNT sports at the start of the new season and just deal with it without HBO max app
