Stream HDMI Lead
Hello,
are we able to change the HDMI lead that came with the stream puck - I ask this as I have had so many issues with my puck, I was hoping this may make a difference.
Thanks

Re: Stream HDMI Lead
Hi @CinderKona
Yes. As long as you use the same rated cable e.g. HDMI 2.1. however if you outline the issues we will do our best to help.

Re: Stream HDMI Lead
Too be honest I have mentioned them on here several times and of all the peripherals I have attached to my Home Theatre the puck is by the far the flakiest. It is the only peripheral I need to reboot at least twice a day.
They include:
Resetting the from 1080 back to 2160 daily.
A flickering that can only be cured by a reboot.
Sound no working if auto is selected. Needs a reboot to resolve.
momentary pixelation that needs a reboot.

Re: Stream HDMI Lead
The maximum speed for a UHD 60Hz feed on Stream for 36 bits(12 bits RGB) and chroma 4:2:2 is 17.82 Gbs. This is classified as a Premium speed cable. The HDMI standard e.g. 2.0, 2.1 etc is a misnomer. The cable provided with the Puck is moe than adequate. The only issue might be the length of the cable.
