Sky streaming not responding

Hi. I cannot get my sky streaming to work at all today. My second in the bedroom has never worked but the main room has been ok since installation in july. Fails on occasion. Today i get waiting to load and then technical issues try again later. Have unpluged and same thing happens. Please help I am getting very annoyed as its my day off and lots of sport on.

Sky Stream relies entirely on you providing a fast, stable and constant broadband connection to each puck you have.

Have you tested the speed each puck is actually receiving? To do this, open the Netflix app, navigate to the get help menu top left, then select network check.

You need a minimum of 25Mbps on each puck to have any chance of the service functioning. This speed needs to be. maintained at all times you are using the pucks, so any fluctuation caused by other use of your broadband can and will cause issues if you do not have sufficient speed.

Does sound like your puck is getting some kind of interference that is affecting your wifi connection to your Sky Stream pucks.

Having a good local network broadband reach is key to running Sky Stream reliably.
It is not just broadband speed to your house and router, but for your local network supply via wifi.

Best way to test is via a network speed test on your Sky Stream Puck.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, over say a half hour period.
What is your speed for the puck?

It may be suffering from interference, the puck much like a Sky Q box can for some customers suffer from this at times. More often seen as an intermittent blip.
Not always a cure, but the following may help to resolve;
Make sure you have a good 6-8 inches free on all sides of the puck.
Do not stack the puck on top of any other device.
Best not to sit it on a glass shelf. Wood is generally the best.
Make sure the puck is in the open, not tucked away in a cabinet or sat directly behind the TV.
Make sure you have no other devices that can cause interference closeby, like cordless phones, radiators, baby monitors, smart meter in home displays, microwaves and the like.

Plus, change your puck to the following recommended settings set in the Puck Settings menu;
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.

A possible alternative, if you cannot sort out a reliable local network wifi connection to the puck, is to use an ethernet cable or use a set of powerline Ethernet adapters.

If you do start using ethernet, turn wifi OFF under Network in the Sky Stream Puck settings

Rather than a power reboot, you can do a Sky Stream puck/Sky Glass TV settings restart.

A cure to try for any glitches going forward or to clear your cache occasionally.

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.

Different ways to get to the settings menu;

Hit the . . . button on your remote and select settings, use voice saying 'settings' or scroll down to the settings menu on the home menu.

For your bedroom puck.

When you say has never worked.

Can you describe the issue more and we will try and get that up and running?

Assume, you have Whole home on your account, needed for more than one Sky Stream (or Sky Glass Tv) to run on Sky  Streaming account.
