Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
How on earth would a vase cause the picture to stutter?
My puck is connected via Ethernet, so it is not a WiFi issue. It is a problem at Sky's end.

Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
Same with my issues. Apps all work fine it's just the live channels with the micro stutter.

Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
I've switched puck as requested this is on an older version just now as well and has so far not froze once. See how the football goes.

Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
Just tried watching the football through iplayer app on sky stream, stuttering again.
switched to iplayer direct though tv and absolutely fine.
clearly an issue with version QSE040.

Re: Sky Stream Jittery
Hi all,
I've just spoken to Sky, and the chap on the telephone had me disconnect the power to my box, hold down the button on the botttom, then reinstate the power. I kept the button pressed until the white indicator light was flashing, then released. The box botted up, and the issue appears to be solved, at least for now. He did suggest that if it happened again that they would replace the box.

Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
My box updated to Build QS040.029.00P yesterday, since then the stuttering mentioned here started happening. It was fine before the update

Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
With so many people having the same issue and clearly having tried all of Sky's 'fixes', is there anyone from actual Sky who could confirm there is an issue their end and that they are at least 'aware and doing something about it'?!
I can't be bothered to keep calling up to be given the same reset the puck advice. It's even called Sky Stream - STREAM - that's its ONE job. And it can't even do that.
Anyone had any luck with getting the puck working back consistently without swtiching back to the glitching? Watching iPlayer etc. through the TV isn't really a solution - as I said before and to quote Roy Keane - Sky Steam - "Do Your Job!"

Presumably, yes, but almost by definition those people aren't reading a support forum.

Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
Just adding to this as I thought I was the only one, All of the world cup coverage either on BBC or ITV has a stutter every now and then.
Even during the studio segments there is a stutter.
I've reset the puck and still stutters.
Resorted to iPlayer on the TV for BBC coverage

This is definitely the best option anyway because you'll get it in UHD. The Sky live channel streams are only HD.

Re: Sky stream - picture stuttering/frame drops
I've just noticed the same is happening with Wimbledon, it must be a frame rate mismatch with the live broadcast and whatever Sky is pushing it to the puck with.
