So, we've been using the Sky stream for about a month after leaving BT.
Although in principle it's very good there are some irritating issues which might force us to leave.
- 1- the background images/adverts for programmes to watch mean the tv guide is really hard to read in places. White background, white wording, equal can't read it.
- 2- Lip syncing when watching tvseems to be an issue
- Not easy to fast forward through the guide to a future day to add it to the schedule (or rewind)
- Not able to easily go back to the beginning of a programme to watch from the beginning
- Overall it's OK, but, in comparison, the BT tv hub is 100 times more user friendly

Hi @Diane631
1 - you can put your puck in high contrast mode in settings > Accessibility > High contrast
2. There is an issue which should be fixed in a software release. It might be that your puck has got this yet. In the meantime time go settings > picture and sound > sound and change the digital audio output to PCM.
3. Press and hold the right hand of the center button when in TV guide and days of the week will be displayed, navigate left and right and press select to go to that day of the week. Note you cannot go back in time like you can with BT/EE TV.
4. If it's a live broadcast click watch from start. You can then use voice commands go forward / back x minutes. Go to X minutes etc.
The videos here are useful for helping get used to it, particularly the playlist section.

Re: Sky stream background images
We moved from BT TV to Sky Stream and in my opinion Sky Stream is far superior to BT TV in every way. It was very rare for us to get a full recording on BT without it cutting off a minute or two before the end of the show. We had countless failed recordings, constant issues with series link that meant it either recorded every episode, even repeats, missed episodes, no series link available... Not being able to find shows because the search facility was so poor, harddrive failures, various other failures... The Pro Box is a poorly designed piece of hardware and the software is drastically out of date.

Huge thank you!
These tips really have eliminated the guide issue instantly. Brilliant!
We've done the sound setting, and shall wait for a software update.
thank you for very helpful, constructive and clear guidance.

@Diane631 looks like you tagged the wrong post as an answer ... did you mean to tag 3 rather than 2🤔
