Re: Sky steam
The freezing/buffering is generally due to a weak internet connection the puck is receiving. How do you have it connected to the internet via Wifi or ethernet cable?

Other devices may work fine over your Wifi however that doesn't mean the sky streaming platform will, as due to the way that works, with nothing being run locally and everything running from Sky's servers a weak and unstable Wifi connection, that is prone to interference will cause issues with the platform.
Because this client server architecture is used for this system it needs to maintain a constant connection to Sky's servers, any small drop in connection can and will cause issues. Most other internet enabled devices are fine with this as they will buffer content locally so typically you won't notice any brief network dropouts if they do occur.
Typically the best way to identify the Wifi signal is the issue is to disable the Wifi in the puck's network settings and connect via an ethernet cable.
