Sky puck malfunctioning

My Sky Puck was working perfectly and now for the last couple of weeks I'm having a couple issues.

 

1. The puck will oftentimes take several tries to actually switch on, despite the fact the remote is lighting up and it's within the proximity of the puck. It will similarly have difficulty 'connecting' with the puck when it's on. 

2. It will often disconnect from the internet citing no internet connection despite the fact there is no issue with the internet on any other device.

 

these issues are happening more often as time progresses - can anyone help?

Set static IP for each Puck/Glass.

I had the same issues until I did this
