Simplest solution would be to release an updated SkyGo app that streams in 4K and works with Apple TV / PS5 / Xbox or any other streaming box, all of which have more than enough power to run the app seamlessly.
But it's Sky so one can't hope.

Some freezing issues will be due to network connection in homes
For others that have good broadband connections
The freezing issue with UHD live broadcast would be due to bandwidth capacity on Sky server that's providing the live stream when lot viewing live in UHD

The Liverpool v ManU is playing flawlessly, I do have Full Fibre 900 and I use my own wifi 6 router and the connection is rock solid.

Your lucky pal. I've done the 30 second rewind to stop it and it works, but should we have to? Sky need to
address this!!

Both F1 and football both flawless, I'm on 70mb. Although I wouldn't mind it freezing and completely going off right now with this performance 😒

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhilst watching F1 on UHD (channel 406) I had a couple of short stutters so decided to move to HD (channel 902) and had no further problems. TBH I found the picture in HD was better to watch than UHD as it was almost as sharp but not so "white" and washed out (for lack of a better term).

Yeah I wasn't blown away with the quality today for the race, I was yesterday for qualifying, I thought it looked excellent then.
