Just moved over from Sky+ HD to Sky stream. I have connected the previoius HDMI cable from SKy+HD box to the Sky Stream box. The light is on but how do I access the programmes.

First thing.
It is best to use the hdmi cable that came with your Sky Stream package.
It is a high speed cable, better suited to Sky Stream output, unless your current hdmi cable mention is a high speed one.
Next;
- Check the cables in the back of your Sky Stream puck are connected properly.
- Check which HDMI port it's plugged into in the back of your TV.
- Make sure you're on that input/source by pressing Source or Input on your TV remote until you find it.
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).

Re: Sky Stream connection
Use the HDMI cable that came with the puck as it's a higher specification one.

Re: Sky Stream connection
Thank you. What a shame Sky only provide a very short HDMI cable making it limited where sky puck can sit!!

Re: Sky Stream connection
You can purchase a longer hdmi cable.
Just make sure it mentions it is an HDMI certified 2.1 cable.
Should not cost you more than £10
