Out of Sync
Had Stream for just over a month and just encountered the 'Out of Sync' problem. Could I cancel without severe penalty?

Many people have been allowed to leave long term Sky Stream contracts without penalty, as long as you contact Sky, explain the issues you're having with their hardware and follow their troubleshooting.
If you cannot receive a good enough service after doing this they normally let you leave without fuss.

HI Ben
Just tried for an hour or so to message Customer Support re sync problem anf finally told there is no messaging service for Sky Stream!!! Can't believe this! Was informd that only way to contact support was by phoning. But I'm deaf and can omly use messaging/text.
Fancy having no online support. They didn't tell me this - or mention the ongoing sync problem - when I signed up!

Have you registered for Sky Accessibility using the link at the bottom of this forum page?

Thanks. I will be registering for the Relay service. But still think it's poor service not to have online help.
And the fact Sky haven't sorted this problem for over a year leads me to think the 'Puck' idea is not up to the job when I see so many customers having this problem for so long.

I haven't had the sync issue for many months, in fact I'm surprised people are still experiencing it!!!
