Sky Stream Puck stuck on PIN reset

@KevNewMedia how soon will this be sorted out? I am now having the exact same problem with my puck. Stuck in incorrect PIN loop. I've even changed the PIN to the same PIN it should've been in the first place only for the puck to tell me it's wrong

If you power your device off at the plug and back on again, you should be able to get around this problem.  I offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

Fill story for @KevNewMedia I had an issue yeaterday - my Sky puck would not start up. I followed all the steps for a reboot - three times as the rebbit would not complain then found that that it was Sky problem so I left. Got up this morning and tried again, set up got as far as the PIN. I entered the PIN, puck says wrong PIN. I reset PIN and puck still says incorrect PIN

Puck stuck on incorrect PIN /reset loop for 2 hours. Live chat not available, phone left holding on.

@NotHappyAgain  and @Har1  When you get to the enter PIN do not enter it but switch off your puck at the power socket and then reboot it.  This is the advice given by @KevNewMedia

Thank you but can no longer get as far as the PIN screen. Getting stuck at the activate screen as the page needed to enter code at Sky.com is not working!

After all the Sky Stream puck issues & reset etc several times I eventually got through to enter pin then got stuck in a loop like others I've seen on this forum. What worked in the end was someone mentioned removing cables from the back of the puck leaving plug on. Waited 2 mins then put cables back in & it then let me enter my pin & now I'm back up & running. Good luck to the rest of you.

@Jaxbran  Glad it worked for you 😀

To help others who might read this thread, Sky have said all along that if you are asked to enter a PIN during the recovery procedure just ignore it and switch off your Puck at the wall socket instead.  Then switch it back on again to reboot.

I'm having the exact same issue, sky has gone down reset it all and it's stuck on the incorrect pin page, I've changed it and I'm 100% putting the right pin in yet I keep being taken back to incorrect pin!! Can anyone help!

@Charlotte118  See posts 50 and 54 above.  Instead of entering a pin switch off your puck at the plug socket and then turn it back on again to reboot 👍

Having lost Sky TV on my Puck since yesterday afternoon. I have followed the instructions to reset/reboot the Puck. Constantly getting stuck on PIN error despite resetting it. Very frustrating with little support and updates on when the outage will be resolved. Unable to speak to anyone. When is this going to be fixed?

Pin locked and incorrect. Tried 5 times.

Then worked after unplugging wires from puck for 2 mins. Plug back in. When it asks for pin turn off at wall plug. Turn back on and works with pin numbers etc

@Emma298 Glad to read it sorted the issue out for you.  Not entering the PIN is  mentioned in the "Answer" post to this thread but it is not very prominent.  I suspect this is the cause for many people still having issues.

Thanks for tour suggestions of a workaround. Not sure what happened but switched the Puck back on this morning and all working! 

Haven't tried the other Puck but fingers crossed it'll be OK.
