Sky Stream Order by 9pm for next day delivery

So I have just signed up (Thursday 4th September) for Sky Stream and it states order by 9pm On a weekday (Monday to Thursday) will arrive next day, finish the order, no email so signed up to the Sky App and find out that it will be delivered on Monday the 8th, how does that work? A Friday is a working day therefore order on a Thursday before 9pm it should arrive Friday 5th not the 8th.

Don't tell me that it is the DPD courier's fault as this is false advertising. If you are relying on a courier to provide you with a delivery date then it should not say "arrive next day"

@jampat999  You're only telling other customers, you are not talking to Sky, there isn;t anything we can do around the delivery times.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@jampat999  next day delivery can never be guaranteed with stock levels being a primary reason

As above, the delivery times are only estimates, as mentioned above.

Watch out for your DPD tracking email and text. That tracking info normally arrives late in the day before delivery.

You never know it may come in the next few days, rather than Monday.

Thank you for that but they should say that on their sign up instead of next day, thanks again.

I agree. It's front and centre on all the Sky Stream sales pages:

"Ready to just plug and play. No dish. No fuss. With next day delivery."

"Delivery: By courier. Order by 9pm (Mon-Fri) or 3pm (Sunday) for next working day delivery (excludes Bank Holidays)."

*Deliveries to remote postcodes and around Bank Holidays will take a bit longer.

There is no obvious caveat anywhere which states 'subject to stock levels' or 'estimated to arrive next day'.

They should add 'most delivered next day' to their advertising to be more accurate.

@BenJoBanjo The caveat doesn't appear on the mobile website either but the same principle applies, there is nothing legally stopping sky from advertising and selling products that may be low on stock provided the item has not been permanently withdrawn from sale

Re: Sky Stream Order by 9pm for next day delivery

Thanks everyone.

Got even more confusing this morning. So last night the app stated delivery on  Monday by DPD, email this morning from Royal Mail saying they have it and will deliver today 😲 so if it does then will be happy.

Thanks again to everyone.
