Sky Sports News Juddering

Hi

I have 2 Stream pucks, connected to 2 different TVs and 2 different Internet connections.  Both have QS036.019.

The picture quality on Sky Sports News channel 409 is really bad.  The ticker at the bottom and the main screen keep juddering.  It is very difficult to watch.  It is as if it is on 25fps.

However it is absolutely fine when it's simulcast on Main Event or Plus.  Sky News' ticker is fine, and so is CNN's.  Other channels are fine too, it just looks like 409 is affected.

Rebooting the pucks and routers don't resolve it.  Neither does going to Discovery Plus and back again, or playing with the TV settings.

Does anyone else have this problem, or know how to resolve it?

@timt90  Yesterday I saw a couple of similar post to yours on the Glass thread.  I would sent an email to Viewer relations at ViewerR@sky.uk to make them aware as it appears to be a broadcast issue.

I've also got the juddering yellow ticker issue. It's been happening for a couple of days. Sometimes the low latency channel for main event can be juddery as well. I've found if you change to a different channel then go back to the low latency channel, it fixes it. Although this didn't fix Sky Sports News on 409.

The Sky Sports News channel is not transmitting or rather streaming.

Have moved your post here, for an ongoing issue discussion on the Sky Sports News problems.

There has been and I'm still seeing juddering on the Sky Sports ticker, but more recently it has got worse and the channel is juddering badly on and off along with audio and no audio blips.

Tuned into Sky Sports News (channel 409 from midday) and I'm having problems again with regard to the picture breaking up and a blue screen. It's been happening for a while during ad breaks on channel 409 but it's happening during the program now. The judder seems to have been fixed though.

Same here. It's SKy Sports News has been almost unwatchable all morning today.

I've tried other Sky Sports channels (401 - 408) and they all appear to be okay. 

I've also tried various other channels BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, Gold etc and they are okay.

Problem only appears to be occurring on SSN 409.

Yeah, same with me. It's just channel 409.

Just posting to say mine is basically unwatchable on 409. Main Event UHD is flawless. I too will email.

same happens with youtube you pause it (use the loo etc🤔😫😔😡😠)then comeback and start watching from the pause then for a couple of mins it goes back to start of vid and have no sound till it catches up 😞
