Can’t turn on puck with remote

The puck won't turn on with remote. The remote fully functions once I've turned puck on manually and will switch it off but it won't switch it on

@THC   That is strange.  The only thing I can think of is (if you haven't already) unplug the puck from the power source leave it a minute or so and plug back in.  I hope that sorts it, if not I'm sure someone on here can help.

Thanks I've done that and I've unpaired and repaired but it's still the same

It takes a long time (5 seconds) for mine to turn on but it gets there eventually. I press the Home key by the way.
