Skipping for up to 30 seconds, anyone else having this problem?

So today..... Abu Dhabi..... Same issue, sounds not sinking properly with the actual action on the screen and when I try to watch it from my playlist it constantly jumps !

This is appalling service from sky and really should be some form of compensation or they can shove their contract where the sun doesn't shine and I will just use streaming services other than Sky's appalling attempt!

It's happening again for me too today! This is probably the 5th time this F1 season! The last 3 races and the British GP, it's getting ridiculous now!

Yep, same for me.
I was a little late to the live coverage so tried watching it just behind live and it was jumping about all over the place. Completely unwatchable. Had to exit and 'watch live' and it's working fine now but meant I missed 5 mins of the race.

Trying to watch F1 and it's jumping forward every 30 seconds for about 10 seconds! Making it almost impossible to watch!

These software problems are shockingly poor for such a large company. The media should be picking this up and shaming sky into action.

I had this issue at the last GP and it's done the same this week. Only occurs with the F1 race recording. No other recordings are affected and live stream is fine. The only way I got around it last time was to watch the "catchup" version of the F1, not the one I had added to my playlist. Obviously you need to wait for the race to finish for that. Clearly an issue with Sky (not WiFi or Hardware) but no way to raise it or get help on it.

This isn't true because mine is hard wired and it still skips like yours but it's only with f1. No other playlist recording does it.

I think it is there system but if you rewind back and try watch the bit it skipped before, it still skips that part. So I think there system has glitched and hasn't saved/recorded that part

Off course the problem is with sky,s system you can go to any other app on the puck bbc etc and you can stream while the programme is on and it works fine.
I think sky has known about the problem for a while and has done nothing or can't fix the issue.

remember this system has been tested for a while and you are not telling me people that work for sky that subscribe like us has not noticed this issue. 
Having the system hardwired makes no difference it's a sky issue.

its great of sky to say they don't know about the issue but their is a whole forum post on here highlighting the issue and on one of the posts a sky advisor comes on and acknowledges the issue.

we will continue to pay for a service that we can not use

Watching with catch-up is not what we pay for! 

I feel a very long and curt phone call tomorrow. Sky has ruined my F1 viewing for most of the season, missing practice sessions even when they are listed to record. Today I had the pre-race build up set to record and, guess what, it didn't record!!

100% this is an issue with the content as it skips the exact same portion of playback each time you watch it.

I have made a complaint today as this is the second week in a row with this issue.  Seems to be worse this week than last.

I can confirm this is still happening. I got sky to watch Sir Lewis Hamilton last race with Mercedes and Sky have ruined it. What  am I actually paying for as you're not providing an effective service. Further more I've still not been sent my voucher, which was meant to be a sweetener for joining Sky. Apparently due to fraudulent claims. The only frauds I see are SKY claiming to be a competent broadcaster. What is the resolution as this is completely unacceptable and I'm still paying you full price every month for the so called privilege.
