This was an issue that I thought they were am trying to fix. It is still ongoing today when trying to watch recorded football on playlist. It's completely unwatchable in this state.

Hello,
I'm having issues with watching F1 on the playlist. This has been happening most of the season. The feed skips for about 20-30 seconds for to 15 laps at the start of the race and to be honest ruins the whole race for me. This doesn't happen on anything else that I watch on Sky, Netflix, Disney Plus etc. I have hard wired connections to my tv so wifi is not an issue.
Please please please Sky can you sort this for next season.
many thanks
Gareth

This has happened multiple times this season whilst trying to watch F1 on catch up, I've had to resort to watching it on a free channel, has anyone had any success cancelling due to not providing the service we are paying for?

I'm a sky glass customer with sports package only for the F1. I suffer with this same issue and its horrendous.
Sky! Please fix this!

Having the same issue as everyone else, fuming, been at work for 12 hours today and spent it looking forward to getting home and watching the F1 and it's unwatchable, again. Now starting to watch it on channel 4. Could do that without spending a fortune on Sky each month

I'm sorry to read this is still going on but I suggest you do what I did (as I reported here in November) and ask for immediate termination for breach of contract. Since then I have watched the last three races via Now TV and even though Sky own that) the product has been absolutely fine.

Thanks.
Good call I will try it next year because I am sick of the current situation..

I am going to call tomorrow and do this.

Weekend and Monday night football seem the worst for us. It's a really ugly viewing. loose about four seconds every forty and always seems to be at a crucial point, so frustrating. It happens on EFL to a lesser degree. So looking forward to contract ending although increasingly wondering if it's worth paying a penalty to be done with it.

Seems the simplest solution. Sky own Now. But still, why are we being ignored? If I missed a payment, they'd be on to me right away. I'd say we're the tip of a behemoth of an iceberg experiencing this. Tech department arranged to call me back, when I first decided to complain, after joining this forum. They didn't bother but.

What I don't understand is, Qualifying is always fine, post race is always fine, highlights are fine, but they seem to keep messing up the actual race. I mean, surely it's something they can fix.
Why is it still messed up hours later, surely they know the content they're putting out is flawed!

Experiencing the same problem. Trying to watch the Abu Dhabi GP and recording keeps skipping forward. So frustrating. This has happened to me before but sometimes seems to resolve itself. Ultimately this service from Sky is not fit for purpose/of merchantable quality and we should all be receiving refunds or compensation for this. Sort it out Sky!

They will only fix it when it hits them in the pocket. I complained today and eventually they agreed to refund this month's Sports subscription. They said it was a "goodwill" gesture but i told them as they failed to provide a service i paid for it's bot goodwill but ahould be standard practice.
If everyone demanded a refund when the service failed they would actually invest in the increased server capacity i suspect is required to maintain the stream at peak demand.

Good to know a "goodwill gesture" is possible. I will call them today and try to get a refund for the last year of it.
I don't think server capacity is anything to do with this - I think it's a pure software bug / design failure. The skips are predictable - exactly 30 seconds of good playback before each skip.
