That's strange @nmbailey as I get adds during Day of the Jackal, in fact I am watching episode 9 as I am typing this post and have literally just had to use the skip ads button to move past the ads.
@Fothergill1
That is strange, I've been watching the UHD HDR episodes and haven't seen any ads at all.

The UHD versions are all free. 🙂

If they announce updates and people cant get them because their unit has not been updated yet they get flack. It is also quite common changes are made without needing new firmware so even if they issued release notes they wouldn't really help.

We've had this problem in episode 9 and 10 of Day of the jackal. I think it's usually the 2nd and break where it skips the ads and 10 mins of the next part. Got to the end of episode 9 before we realised we'd missed an important 10 mins of the storyline! Great idea but obviously a bit unreliable right now.

So encouraging to read something positive happening in the latest update especially around the dreadful AD skipping. 👍🏻

Besides the skip adds button there is an new extra vivid mode for Glass as well as improvement in the CW rail and favourites. Personally I don't currently use the favourites but might give them another try now they have been improved

Good news 😊
I think it is fair to say it has been a bit of a journey 😂. How are the playlist and continue watching these day? Can you delete yet 😗.
I won't comeback to Sky now as I'm invested in Apple TV and I just love it so.... Must say though the Now app on Apple has also come on this year with UHD etc so Comcast still get my pennies 😆.
Have a good Christmas 🎅🏾

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Gincap . Unfortunately there is still no way to remove unwanted items from the CW rail but they do tend to drop off after a couple of months of inactivity. I'm currently crossing fingers for 2 things to drop off in another couple of weeks. The CW rails is a little more informative since the last update which is useful.
I moved from Glass to a stream puck 12 months go and it was a brilliant decision. Generally I am still very happy with Sky and have not found a need to ditch Sky for Apple/Now. Having said that I came close about 6 weeks ago but that was a customer service issue but that's another story.
Have a great Christmas.

@Gincap yes ! A blockbuster update this month. Hope you survived the winds last week down there on the coast. First year for as long as I can remember that I won't be down that way to watch the annual panto this year ☹️. . Hopefully the old theatre be back up and running next year

Hi @Jporch316
Storms survived which was a blessing as two weeks prior we had the roof newly tiled and the whole thing completely reinsulated.
They are working on the Pavilion Theatre so should be revitalised soon 🤞🏻.
Good news on the updates just keep them coming! Openreach have been fitting all new fibre in the village this past month so I've decided to upgrade again 30th December engineers are calling to do the in home connection.
So have a good Christmas and "keep streaming" or is it dancing 🤔

Sorry where is the button to skip ads eg channel 4 app? Just had the update today. Also I presume you still have to sign up for the access for skip adds
