SKY Stream with Samsung Q800d XU Soundbar

I've recently upgraded to Sky Stream and have a Samsung TV and just purchased the Sammsung Q800D XU soundbar all connects and works as it should however I cannot use my sky stream tv remote to turn the volume on the bar up or down, when going to the sky settings and trying to set up the bar it's not recognised  both TV & Soundbar are 2024 models .....anyone out there provide some advice - Thanks

Hi @pt25  I have a Samsung Q600C soundbar and it works fine with my stream remote.  I have it connected to a Samsung S90C TV via the eARC HDMI connection.

One mistake I made was when setting it up in the first place was that I said yes to the option to control a speaker system but this didn't work.  Just set up the remote for the TV and it should control your connected soundbar (at least it did in my case)

If you unplug your soundbar does the Sky remote control the volume on your TV?  If so there is no reason why it won't control the soundbar which is controlled through the TV not the Stream puck.
