Remote buttons sticking

My remote is sticking and buttons not working

@ReeceDouglasTo help you try to get your remote working again have a look at these links to a couple of troubleshooting guides:

You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth.  Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including mine on two occasions).

 

If none of the above help then I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote 

 

If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement.

I didn't believe twisting the remote idea would actually work but it does and we're back up and running!! Thanks for your advice @Fothergill1

@MrsF1  It certainly is an unusual solution.  As I mentioned in my post it has worked twice for me and I have seen many posts like yours saying that it worked for them.  Presumably it only works where there is a problem with the circuitry of the remote not making proper contact.  Anyway, I'm glad it worked in your case 👍
