Re: Sky stream morning regular puck reboot

@JackieZas you mention "WiFi" dropouts not solved by MAX, do you actually mean you lose interent connection or is it a WiFi coverage issue in your home?

Regardless of the above as you say you are connected by ethernet then home wireless issues are not a factor unless of course you have the puck WiFi set to ON which means if that connection has been set up previously it will default to even with a cable plugged in.

Turn WiFi off in the settings and see what happens.

You need to clarify what exactly is dropping put.

Re: Sky stream morning regular puck reboot

Thanks Martin. The 1st issue is the puck and switch on in the morning. The 2nd is the Wi-Fi drops out for a few seconds on video calls  even tho the computer is close to the router and uses Wi-Fi.

ive change the puck Wi-Fi to off so we'll see if it works tomorrow.! Many thanks Jackie

It sounds like you conflating two separate things here. It seems you 1. have an issue with your sky puck and 2. feel there's an issue with WiFi to your hub connection. The puck is connected via Ethernet so that's a separate thing. You haven't stated 'why' you have to reboot the puck. Is it just not coming out of standby mode or something?

You mention WiFi drop outs on video calls only so everything else on the internet works ok? It could be that it's the person you are video calling that is having the drop outs and not you is what I'm thinking.

Re: Problems with missing tiles and the UI lagging

With all due respect, we're all paying for this service and right now I'm switching on my sky puck and waiting 2 minutes before anything loads because it can't find the internet , then when I scroll, it's mostly missing so I wait longer. This "read the answer and wait for your update" is not acceptable. Fix your "shizzle" because you won't delay a price increase if you want one

Re: Sky stream morning regular puck reboot

Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately the switching off WiFi on the puck hadn't changed anything today, so yet another reboot this morning .

Re WiFi dropping out, it's not the other party as its happened with different peoples video calls.  Constant freezing of the call.

I understand from previous responses it's to do particularly with apple computers. I can only work from my phones hot spot.. which is apple too.  So using up my data too.

Im just unsure what to do now and am considering cancelling my contract even with penalty.
