Will Premier Sports be available on Sky Stream when it relaunches on 9th April?

Perhaps potentially at some point in the future, but i'd suggest it would take a while for Premier Sports to get themselves on the Sky stream platform.

It's available via Amazon prime channels I believe.

Just to add that Viaplay channels are all available on alternative stream service, these will change to premier sports in a few days. So it is possible that the channels at some point will move on to Sky stream. This will be a commercial decision for premier and Sky, but I suspect hinges mainly on Sky, bearing in mind that they are broadcasting on virgin stream

I may be wrong on this but I suspect the biggest issue that's keeping third party subscriptions that maintain their own billing such as Viaplay/Premier, DAZN etc off stream and glass are that there is no viewing card number to provide them. so I wouldn't hold my breath on any of their channels appearing as actual channels on the EPG.

I don't know for sure either but the above is not a bad assumption at all

Certainly probably partly explains why its going to take a prolonged period for DAZN to get their app deployed onto Sky hardware. As per their press release at the end of last year, they said it would take until towards the end of 2024 until the service is available.

Before I got Sky Glass I signed up to a one year deal for Viaplay. I was disappointed it wasn't on Sky Glass but was able to stream the matches I wanted to watch using a Roku Dongle. Now that Premier Sports is taking over Viaplay will there be any chance we could get the channels on Sky Glass?

@MarkGoldsmith I am a DAZN subscriber and no viewing card should have absolutely nothing to do with the apps delay, the app uses your email/password logging, the viewing card number was only for the DAZN 1 channel that is 429 on satellite, and it is basically the equivalent of Sky Sports Main Event, the app is a better experience anyway as it offers all the content live and on demand, when I still had Q I switched to the app anyway.

Not where there is the use case and desire from both parties to allow billing through Sky similar to other third party apps like Disney and Paramount.

DAZN have made no mention of wanting Sky to handle the billing as far as I am aware, and even Sky are going to handle the billing then the viewing card is again irrelevant, it would work in the same way as Netflix, TNT/Discovey, Cinema/Paramount.
Going back to the original point I made and I again I don't know if this is fact, but the viewing card is I assume required for third party subscriptions to provide a linear EPG channel only.

It still relates to your point about the lack of viewing card though, as you need a mechanism to integrate the different billing systems to verify that a subscriber on Sky has access to that relevant platform though.
If you look at how that integration is done via the apps, you could probably assume that something similar would need to be required if it were possible to control if via EPG channels.
