Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - ITV channels

I have started having pixelating issues on live tv as well as the image freezing but the sound carries on? If I restart the puck it works again for a little while then starts happening again? Makes live tv unwatachble.

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - ITV channels

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - ITV channels

Over the last couple of days ITV1 has started twitching / pixelating, doesn't happen on any other channel 😕

Glad I looked online about this ITV issue, Its been driving me insane.

It's happening constantly too, had to turn it off due to unwatchable. Every other channel fine.

Not good sky.

Pixelating on ITV only. Glass and stream.

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - ITV channels

It's unwatchable at times. There must be still an issue with the pucks as it's happened on Sky channels and now non Sky ones

For a few weeks now Itv 1 keeps going pixelated every couple of minutes on sky glass. Also on a few channels keep going out of sync.

Re: Picture Intermittently Pixelating - ITV channels

The pixelating is occurring on ITV channels via Virgin media stream too.

indicates this is a ITV broadcast issue not sky stream

But it was happening on Sky's own channels though?

Correct, which would have been a delivery/broadcast issue which Sky were able to resolve for their channels. Sky don't own all the feeds that are broadcast via their platform, for third party channels these feeds are typically provided by the owning broadcaster.

its not out of the realms of possibility that ITV have a very similar issue that Sky had on their channnels but unlike Sky they haven't be able to fix it yet.

Did see a couple of very slight pixelation drops on ITV yesterday evening while watching the Martin Lewis live broadcast.
It was within the first ten minutes or so, after that all was fine.

Have not watched much ITV for a few weeks, apart from above and my regional Meridian News programme daily at 6pm, so not sure how other things on the channels play out. Not seen any pixelation with that regional programme broadcast.
Must admit, not seen any pixelation on any other channels, including Sky channels for a month or so now.

ITV1 won’t work and black blue screen

I watch ITV1 mostly and it either doesn't work at all and it is a blue blank screen or it works and then freezes mid programme or the screen goes black and the programme stops. Sky need to sort this out.

@lettice I have been getting g the ITV pixelation for about a week but TBH it is not bad and doesn't really spoil my viewing experience.

The start of the pixelation coincided with me connecting my puck via ethernet and initially I thought this was the cause so I went back to Wi-Fi and it was still happening.
