When playing a sky TV programme my sky stream is not remembering where I am up to and is starting the next episode. Been doing this a few days. Any ideas?
Am ok if I finish the episode as it plays the next, but should and did start from where I left off.

Yes I did it not that long ago. It's just episodes from sky TV programmes. Not apps such as netflix etc. So frustrating. Episodes I've watched from UKTV gold and sky Atlantic no longer have progress bars under the episodes. This has just started happening over the last couple of days.

Although i have noticed the continue watching rail does correctly remember which is the current episode ( if its not finished) or the next episode that you can watch.

The issue is the continue watching bar no longer remembers where I left off. For example if I watch a few minutes of a programme I would usually just go back in and restart and watch the rest. It now starts the next episode as there is no tracking on the current episode being watched. This is even if I have only watched 10 minutes of an hour long programme.

I have noticed that if I do a voice search for what I'm watching it does show status bar on episodes but if I try to restart from there it starts the episode from the beginning.

It's the same for me, none of the Sky programmes will remember where I left off and will restart from the beginning. Annoying to say the least.

The progress bars also disappear from programmes on Sky's budget service NOW TV🤔
Don't expect a resolution to the issue😉

Thats interesting as I've never seen that issue. Unless it only affecting shows from a certain broadcaster or on-demand app which i just haven't stopped a programme in the middle of yet.

@MarkGoldsmith ironically it's the programmes sky are streaming. The apps all work fine. Or at least seem to do so.

@Dazzasky this only started happening a few days ago. All was fine before. Not sure if an update has affected this in any way.

It's fixed in the latest update which is QS025 for me anyway.
