Hello Community !
Having moved to a new house recently we were quickly made aware by the landlord (local authority) that we would not be permitted to have a Sky dish installed, therefore no longer using Sky Q. Setup the broadband side of things first, and lived without TV for a few days (we were probably too busy unpacking to have the time). Then ordered Sky Stream puck, and actually managed to get first puck free of charge. Initial setup was a bit janky but got there after repositioning Sky Hub.
Around this time discovered that there was a no-spot upsairs, in back bedroom where no WiFi was available, so upgrade to Sky Max Hub, waited for a few days to a week for that to settle and ordered a free Sky Max Pod, which now gives the full upstairs fast useable WiFi, the stream puck has also been really steady and reliable on the new WiFi 6 connection.
Slowly starting to add further pucks as we go, and wondered if there is a suggestions sub section, one of the things that has become very apparent is there isn't really a clearly defined kids section, that I can see anyway. Additionally, I thought it would be an easy update to implement if there was multiple user profiles on the service, much like netflix where each user has their own tailored UI on the boxes where they can pick up where they left off, and/or create their own playlists?
Overall, not as dissapointed by the switch from Q to Stream as I thought we would be, and actually impressed by the quality of some content with a full HDR10 UHD screen. Can't comment on sound quality as only using an old LG 2.1 soundbar and sub speaker.

The profiles are not per box and can be seen across boxes.
More really just to allow family members to add their own content to a profile.
The kids section is available by scrolling right from where you select the playlist ( Playlist TvShows Movies Sport Kids News ...
Or just say kids into the remote.
