I've reset the sky tv due to some apps failing to open recently. I've got to the point were it's asking to "link your account". When I use the QR code or the https address it takes me to a sky page that I don't have access to. Any ideas.

Two things.

Is this a Sky Glass TV or a Sky Stream box?

try entering the code at sky.com/activate.

Make sure you are logged into your Sky id when doing so.

You may need to refresh  your browser cache to do so, or try in another browser.

Secondly, did you perform a factory reset from within your Sky Glass/Stream settings.

It is not recommended to do a factory reset, unless Sky have asked you to do so or you are on a chat/call with Sky while doing so.

It can cause ongoing account issues and only Sky themselves on a call can resolve this.
