Re: Itv picture issue

I don't usually watch ITV live, use ITVX so can skip ads.  However the missus watches  the  soaps 'live' and I could see the poor quality  thinking that ITV wre making their soaps like films.

I switch to ITVX to watch the live ITV programming now as the picture quality is a little better but not HD quality!

Oh this is on Sky Glass.

Re: Itv picture issue

Obviously I'm no expert but can't see it being an itv problem. When I watch itv on stream and the picture is shocking I just turn the channel over then go back to itv about 4 or 5 times and the picture is fine but it's only fine for about 5-10 minutes then reverts to a terrible picture. Shouldn't be doing that as I'm paying £57 per month

The picture is permanently like this for me on ITV - on Glass and Stream.  The live stream on the ITVX app isn't like this, but it is poor quality.  It isn't on any other channel.

See if you can notice anything around movement, lips and hands are a good one to check on, and the ITV idents which look really bad, as shown in  this image:

Looks good again for me now on Winning Combination. The Chase has looked a mess upto now so will see how that looks later.

Re: Itv picture issue

Hi all

I recently moved to SKY stream and found the ITV issue around the same time as the rest of you- it seemed  worse on live studio transmissions.

Today, I have ran ethernet from the router to the puck and its now perfect.

I was getting 52 mbs, so no idea why this might work, but it has.

Not watched ITV yet this evening but the idents and scrolling news banner/human motion on GMB tomorrow will be a good indication if it's fixed.
