Itv 1 issues on sky glass channel keeps freezing then flickering on and off, it started 3 days ago 

1 April 2024 is anyone else having the same problems.

Watching the football now on ITV1 Calandar/Yorkshire, it's the picture is just terrible, juddering and just 10 mins ago the screen picture freeze and flicks on and off and back on basically just repeating its self, it's a joke, we pay all this money just to enjoy content, and this is what we get in return, other channels are fine like BBC One and Sky Sports Football but ITV1 just seems to play up

@DannyBoy4  Apart from my router deciding to lock up  not long after the first goal, and having to pull the power out to get Broadband back, I've not seen any of the issues tonight you've experienced.  Picture quality of the game lacks definition and is a bit soft, but it's not been jerky or freezing.

rebooted, checked connections etc.

followed all the suggestions on screen.

@KevNewMedia I find it interesting that you said that the issue should be resolved, because I spoke to a customer service person at Sky this evening who advised me to get a puck-but the poster who you replied to *is* using a puck and still, they are having similar problems to me with the picture on ITV being very "broken"-pixelated, lots of different colours. Something is clearly not right. I've been a Sky customer for *years* and ITV is probably the channel I watch more often. I am really disappointed if this cannot be resolved. I'm inclined to change providers.

@GDIP I have had similar picture issues with ITV and I did try a Reboot and still, it hasn't resolved the issue.

My issue was aused by a tree ! It had grown fast and was blocking the signal. Sirted with loppers. No issues now.

Watching the Euros on ITV HD using Sky Stream is awful, the video quality on that channel is nothing short of awful, it looks like it was shot on a potato.

I think it's slightly darker than the BBC feed too 🤔

Itv constantly freezing or dropping sound, all other channels are fine. Rebooting doesn't work

• I was contemplating switching from SKYQ to Stream using the EE package and I am hesitant because of the ITV streaming problems that have been reported.
• At present if I view ( on SKYQ ) Emmerdale via ITVX , the picture quality has that 'soapbox' look.
• Transmitted over Satelite however,  the quality is excellent.
• The satellite picture I record looks as if it has been videoed using 4K cameras that also it appears to be kept in 4K in post before downscaling for broadcast.
• I watch  more ITV content than other channels so unless ITV has comparable picture quality on Stream I won't be changing from Q to Stream.
