All the ITV channels are glitching

I have sky glass 65 inch until a few days ago everything was fine now all of the ITV channels are glitching it's not smooth and when watching football it's awful all of the sky channels are absolutely fine it's just the all of the ITV channels what can I do about this does anyone have any ideas thanks Pete

@pete1986andrew There appears to be an issue with ITV as reported by others on the stream board HERE.

 

It appears as though the fault is at the ITV end as according to some of the posts it is also effecting Virgin Media.

 

You could report the issue to Viewer Relations at viewerR@sky.uk

I raised this last week with one of the Sky employees here on this forum plus sent supporting video evidence to Sky, and they've passed this info on.

Happens on both my Glass Tv and Pucks so it's more than likely an issue with the ITV stream.

I'm sure there'll be an update here soon.

@Marcos+Gilson  This was passed to the appropriate person within Sky last Friday afternoon after I was asked to provide video evidence of the issue - I also provided some today via DM.

 

I'm sure they'll evaluate and update as soon as they can - don't forget, seemingly, ITV are the problem here rather than Sky so they'll have to get a response from ITV first so I'd suggest also bringing this up with ITV as well as ultimately they're responsible for this.

ITV live channels picture quality is bad

Good evening,

 

has anyone else experienced a smiliar problem please. ITV's live channles (on sky stream), are appearing pixelated. This is the HD channels. It seems to be only an ITV problem, and only on live, not on the ITV X app. This seems to be a sky problem, or a problem with how ITV deliver the live broadcast to sky. I guess my question is: does sky know about this, and can anyone from sky tell us if and when they will fix this? And this is not a hardware problem from third party ie. My tv or internet, as every other channel works fine. Thanks guys

The best course of action is to report this to viewer relations. Their email is: viewerR@sky.uk as this appears to be an issue with Sky or ITVs end.

@mikealanr @Reporting to that email address isn't the best course of action. I did this and was told to phone technical team

@Jason+Golding I suspect you were badly advised as IMHO this is an issue relating to the viewing experience so should initially be reported to Viewer Relations.  I understand they may not be able to fix the issue but it is surely up to them to forward all the reports to the relevant department after all all they need to do is forward the email.  A customer has to sit in a phone queue and will in all likelihood be transferred multiple times (that's my general experience) probably wasting at least an hour of their day.

 

Anyway at least we know they are aware and will hopefully get it resolved by ITV.  I read earlier in this thread that Virgin Media subscribers were also experiencing the same issue which would indicate the problem is probably at the ITV end and not Sky.

ITV channels part 2

ITV channels glitching on sky glass part 2 just spoken to sky in regards to the ITV channels and they said they've raised it with programming queries but they need more people to do this so it can get to ITV and this can get sorted this has been going on since Friday sky customer service try to tell me it was my internet and my sky glass and I said no that is definitely not the case it is all ITV channels so hopefully the more people that report this the quicker we can get it sorted
