Ineligible for Sky Stream
I currently have Sky Q Multiroom and obviously I am limited to only getting 4k on the main box and not my 2nd room. For this reason, I am considering switching to sky stream when I get FTTP installed in the next few months however when ever I click through the website to view sky stream options I get an error that I am ineligible and it pushes Sky Glass my way. I do not want sky glass as already have very good (recently purchased) TV's.

It's a quirk of Sky's system. If you have an active Q subscription you need to phone them to order Stream.

Re: Ineligible for Sky Stream
Typically that indicates you are currently within a minimum contract term on Q, and so Stream cannot be ordered online because the rolling monthly contract won't be available. You should be able to get Stream on an 18-month term by calling Sky.

That's crazy - I just thought I would be able to view the prices at least and the options. I don't speak to sky often but it seems they have removed the chat function as well in favour of a ridiculous AI bot that hasn't a clue.

You can do that by accessing the site without being signed in to Sky (or use an anonymous browser mode)

The AI Bot is designed to point you to self-help articles and documentation and ont make any changes or updates to your account. Thats why for things that can't be done self-servce you need to phone Sky.
