Have you tried the app refresh in the settings menu? Some customers have said it has fixed the issue for them... but whether or not it's a permanent fix we don't know...

Yeah, no. This fix hasn't worked. Refreshing doesn't help either. Give it 24 hours and it returns.

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025
I had this issue. Saw your post so restarted the puck and the picture quality was perfect after that. However, everytime I turn the tv on I have the same issue with Netflix everytime so have to always restart the sky puck

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025
I am having exactly the same issue. I am having to reboot the puck every time I go back to Netflix having used any other part of the service, ie sky itself, iPlayer etc. seriously, this standard of service is just unacceptable. I so hate having moved to Stream from Q. Nothing about it is an upgrade

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025
Why do we have to be contracted to this poor service !!!! So frustrating !!! We should not have to reboot everytime. Can someone from Sky please address this with urgency as impossible to get through by phone !

Have moved your posts to this ongoing issue thread.
Please see the latest answered post in here from Sky.
Some today with the recent update, as mentioned in the answered post are saying the issue is now fixed for them.
Can you do a settings restart of your Sky Stream puck, to ensure yiu are picking up the update fix;
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025
Is this issue happening for everyone on a certain tier of Netflix or is it actually happening to everyone but only some are noticing it?
Are Netflix Premium subscribers having the issue or just those on the bundled standard with ads plan?
Is it limited to a number of customers accessing the Netflix app on a specific Sky server?

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025
We still have the problem. Only on one of our two pucks. Sky have even replaced the one with the issue. No joy. Doesn't make sense that one is fine and one is not. Infuriating. Need a fix for the amount of money people are paying out a month.

Having to restart my stream AGAIN. It's not even lasting 24 hours now. You get better performance from a budget Fire TV stick. Joke.
