Have to pull power cable from puck everytime I want to watch TV.

Everytime I want to watch tv with the sky puck, I have to disconnect the power once sometimes 3 or 4 times before it will turn on.

I have connected via network cable and WIFI, same problems. It worked great for a month then this started to happen. I have changed the batteries on the remote, same problem. I use the power and the home sometimes I continuous press power the "+"/speaker and home button on remote, sometimes this works. Could there be a fault with the puck or remote?

@Str1der  1st thing to check when you connected ethernet did you turn off wifi in the puck settings menu?  You need to do this otherwise it will still try & connect over wifi.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Have to pull power cable from puck everytime I want to watch TV.

I did find what may be a solution Will check this.
Change your puck to the following recommended settings set in the Puck Settings;
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.

Thanks

Re: Have to pull power cable from puck everytime I want to watch TV.

Both my pucks are set correctly as is the Glass but 100% without fail when powering up they look for WiFi initially, you have to power off and press home to power back on.

It is a known fault but gets limited reference here for some reason.  It is being reviewed by Sky tech but it's been a few months now with no updated info. @KevNewMedia

It's probably on the long to do list.
