Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Thanks - i haven't been given any log in details for HBO - all I know is that I can't sign into it with my email address for the sky account as HBO says there is no account registered with that email address and I can't activate my account through sky as it just takes me to the HBO login page

Hbo max activation does not work for me in Guernsey, same for Paramount Plus and Disney plus. I have spoken to Sky twice and no fix as yet. It looks like a territorial issue as we are not in uk. Any more information anyone?

Re: HBO MAX

Why do I have to pay for something I had for free. Yet another con.

It certainly feels that way however Sky do not own the rights , so can only show what HBO allows then to. HBO have introduced their app and want to make as much revenue as they can. Sky have no choice but to do as HBO want, if they didn't then they would have lost all of the series. @Davidos

This isn't really true, Sky have no bundle agreement in Germany & Italy (only just added the app in Germany in March) and still have newer HBO series available ie from April 2022 and rights to any new seasons of any existing series (that originally premiered before end of 2025) e.g season 3 of The Comeback is airing on Sky in Germany.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Hello!

As someone who's still having problems accessing HBO Max, I've been asked to find out my unique partner ID - is this something that someone can please help me with?

When I do get this, what will I then need to do next?

Thanks in advance,

Tracy 🙂

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I had access to TNT Sports through Discovery+. I was told I would get access to TNT Sports through HBO Max. I have only got access to HBO Max Basic. How do I get access to TNT Sport?

Was that access through a £30 TNT Sports subscription with Sky, TNT or legacy BT?

Some users who have now 'lost' Sports shouldn't have had it in the first place as they weren't actually subscribed, and appear to have benefited from a historic glitch which has now disappeared.

The lowest (£4.99) HBO Max tier bundled with Sky definitely doesn't include Sports.

I had it through Discovery. Sounds like I may have benefitted from the glitch

@Alistair66

If you weren't paying a substantial amount each month, then yes: Warner Bros Discovery Ltd has spent billions acquiring Sports content and really doesn't want to give it away.

I've just been told we paid for Discovery when cycling was no longer available through Eurosport

I take it you've signed into HBO Max with your Discovery+ log in and not your Sky log in?
