Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I've still got the same problem. One of the Sky advisors is messaging me regularly with updates. This is what I got today...

Hi  🙂 I’ve had a look at the latest update from the HBO support team for the activation issue you’re experiencing. It’s still under investigation at the moment. The team have identified the likely cause, but they’re waiting on access to a key resource before they can progress things further. Their next round of investigation is expected to move forward on Monday.

I know it’s been a long wait, and I really appreciate your patience. I’ll keep monitoring the incident from my side and update you as soon as there’s any movement.

^Heather

So they're VERY aware of the issue. It's just taking a long time to resolve it. Frustrating though!

If I upgrade through the sky website to get HBO Max Standard or premium does that get the sports channels, for Football. Has anyone tried this yet?

No,  you would have to subscribe to TNT Sports to gain access to TNT Sports plan on HBO Max

Standard is just no ads with newer movies and new movie releases and Premium is 4K UHD

I can't activate it! I just keep getting the same message saying 'We can't do that at the moment'. So frustrating. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

@HJJ06

Leave it to Sky.  They have acknowledged it is their issue.

Remarkably, I tried again after 2 weeks of 'can't do that at the moment' and it worked straight away, so now we can view HBO, for all its worth. I have no idea what changed.

Don't see how it's false advertising. It says follow the steps, those steps will include paying the £30 TNT Sport subscription.

My understanding is that you can either pay the TNT Sport bit via a HBO higher tier or via your Sky subscription. Only the latter gives you the Sky linear channels.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I have been trying to subscribe to HBO Max for a week now, with no joy.

On the TV, when I click on the Get HBO Max option, I am taken to a list of packages, but am unable to click on them to show the one I want.

When I try to active via the laptop, I am told "We can't do that at the moment" (have tried various browsers, all with the same result)

Have also had no joy when trying via phone app.

Just tried to phone up to speak to a person, but can't get past the automatic system.

Can anyone offer any advice

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Hello - I can't access HBO Max despite being in my package. When I click through sky it asks me to sign in but my email address isn't recognised as having a HBO account. Been passed around a bit when calling Sky with no conclusion. Can someone help?
