Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
HBO Max adds no value whatsoever. Most of the shows and movies were/are already available through Sky anyway. I tried to watch a show on it and it felt like the ads were every two minutes. It was supposed to be included as a bonus. What's the point of having to pay £5-10 more to remove the ads?

Presumably, as I've mentioned several times in this thread, the point is Warner Bros Discovery Ltd makes more money from their extremely valuable catalogue than they did with the previous Sky Atlantic deal agreed under different ownership: it's their content, and their stockholders expect them to maximise a financial return.

GDPR argument is totally invalid. There is a specific exemption where data access is required in relation to fulfilling a contract.

No use at all. Doesn't even mention the problem.

Your post makes no sense and what has GDPR got to do with anything @Old_git

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
I've tried to connect my HBO account and Sky accounts since it changed to being included. But no luck. HBO says its connected, Sky says they are connected but the TV screen says:
Welcome back!
To start streaming on HBO Max, get access through Sky via sky.com/mysky/tv.
Following that link, I get an error page that says:
Unfortunately, we can't complete your order online.
Round and round in circles!

Has anyone managed to solve the activation issue where you keep getting the message 'we can't do that at the moment?'
Have tried several browsers and through the app but keep getting the error in the image attached. Is there a way to solve this? Been trying since last week

Can't activate hbo max
When I click on activate hbo max, it comes up with a message saying 'we cant do that at the moment, we hope everything gets back to normal soon. Please try again later'
I have been trying everyday for weeks. I put in a complaint, but a man who I can't understand rings me from sky!
Can anyone help please?

Hi @Chrissy42
Is this via your puck or via the MySky app? If one have you tried the other?

HDPR has a specific exemption for sharing data where it involves fulfilling a contract.

Re: Can't activate hbo max
At last admittance from Sky.
"As you have indicated, this appears to be a technical issue on our side."
My report if this issue has now been escalated to 2nd line support.
