All the information about paramount plus is available on this page: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/using-paramount-plus
It explains how to link your Sky and paramount plus accounts and the FAQ section explicitly states you need to cancel your paramount plus subscription if you already have one prior to adding Sky Cinema.

Re: 'Free' Paramont plus and Apple TV Offers
I found transferring my Paramount+ billing from to direct to Sky easy, I just had to wait until my direct Subscription ended, cancelled it and then linked the Paramount+ account to my Sky account by loading the Paramount+ app..
The main rail shows aggregated content from Sky's partners so content from Prime does show but it's highlighted as such.
It will also show that it's pushing you to subscribe to a channel via Prime because there's several clicks involved, giving plenty of time to question...

Re: 'Free' Paramont plus and Apple TV Offers
Thanks for excellent answer. I agree in the small print it possibly says I need to manually stop any current subscriptions but ' isn't obvious'.The advice from a Sky operative is also not obvious and they have acknowledged the deal is primarily for new customers to paramount but not exclusive to.
In regards to the main rail' shows aggregated content from Sky's partners so content from Prime does show but it's highlighted as such'. Is what I call the mashing of subscriptions from others on the upper page . Thank you for confirming this and that the bottom rail is unhelpfully( out of sight most of the time) is pushed to the bottom of the page in favour of upper strapline banners for movie TV ads that occupy the entire top of the front screen for no apparent usful reason. The best way to access the Sky/Paramount portal to access the the free version of plus bundled with Sky cinema is from the bottom rail. This I now know the hard way . I can assure you one can one click by accident to join anything on the upper page. I know, as I have done it.
I think I will get there now and thanks for your help.

One of the features i would quite like to have on the Sky streaming platform is the ability for a user to configure which other services they have accounts for, so for instance you could turn off the Apple TV shows from appearing on the rails, if you don't have an apple TV + subscription.
Personally i think it would make it cleaner and there would be more space for them to make recommendations of shows you might be interested in wathcing from the apps you can actually watch.

That's never going to happen.
The Entertainment OS is an advertising platform as well as a streaming service.
Disney+, Prime Video, TNT Sports, Apple TV+, Paramount+ etc all want non-subscribers to see what they're missing out on, so that if something catches a customer's eye they might decide to subscribe to see it. That particular streaming service therefore makes money.
That's what it's all about. £££££.
