You need to explicitly add multiple pucks to your order even when you add whole home package as Sky won't know how many pucks a customer wants so it's not done by default.

That's just it I did ask for 2! I am
really unhappy that just to get set up took 2 hours in total on the phone with sky and now one puck down

In the email Sky sent to you after you ordered, it would show Sky Stream Puck listed twice, if you ordered two.
In that list will be Whole Home and Sky Entertainment, plus any other packages you ordered in addition like Sky Sports, Sky Cinema etc.

When I placed my order about six months ago, I had to select MultiRoom and add an extra Puck to the order. This triggered an extra one-off payment of £40-ish which I had to pay by debit card there and then.
