As I said on page one of this thread, everyone needs to calm down and lower their expectations for this software update. There's absolutely nothing revelatory in it.

No one said the low latency Sky Sports Main Event was being made available immediately. Its just something that will be made available as part of OS 1.3 throughout the summer.

These new features tend to be enabled individually as time goes by, and some likely can't be enabled until the upgrade has rolled out everywhere.

I think that might happen before the new football season starts or Sky Sports+ launches in August

I'm fairly sure the low latency Sky Sports Main Event will be available by the start of the new football season, it would seem like the perfect opportunity to launch it.

@Jon87 that only applies to Sky Glass of course it has no relevance to Sky Stream, if the second batch is of the sizecSky normally use under a third of sets will have been updated so far.

The only visual difference is as shown here from the programme screen, the play,  watch from start, add to playlist are noticeably different, and movies no longer have a stars rating but what appears to be rotten tomatoes and another popcorn one next to it.

Hi Everyone, My Sky Glass have been updated to 1.3. Now i gotta wait till August for new season for Low latency.  Does anyone have recommendation speed broadband order to watch sky sports UHD?

35Mbps minimum is what Sky recommends for UHD streaming.
