If your asking for help we really do need more than a 2 word post.

@krystal2014 if you mean your Puck is going into standby after a short time, that's the way it's meant to work, I'm afraid. Just pick up the handset to stop it.

Hi @krystal2014 although you have not given any details of what you are referring to I know what you are meaning.

 

I also find the eco mode very annoying and far too quick to kick in when you have paused a programme. Unfortunately that is the way stream pucks are designed. They are sold in many jurisdictions so they have to comply with many countries regulations and presumably work to the lowest denominator.

Sorry, I meant it goes in to eco mode after about 10 mins.( when you pause a programme ). it should be at least 4 hours.

 

i have factory reset and it still happens

Yeah thats correct, 10 minutes is how it is intended.

The eco mode is why I cancelled my sky stream.

i didn't use the sky remote either, so needing to pick it up to give it a shake was annoying.

 

would have loved an option to turn the eco mode off. Had they had this I would have stayed.

 

though I did miss the ability to record, hopefully one day they will release a box with record facilities and more user friendly options with the ability to on/off features like eco mode that we don't want.

 

a sky q box effectively that recirves its stream through the internet would be perfect.

The content rights owners don't want their product being consumed on devices which can record.
