Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I am a non existing Disney customer. I tried to activate on my sky stream and it sent me to the Disney website to create an account. I used the email address shown on the sky stream instructions but there was no free option to choose and if I picked the basic 5.99 option it wanted credit card details.

this appears to have all the hallmarks of the paramount plus debacle, but if anyone has a solution I'd be grateful.

@Karen317 are you definitely on the Sky Ultimate package?

Hiya.  Haven't switched my Disney+ to thru Sky yet as it's wants to take the monthly payment from a bank card rather than by DD with the rest of my Sky package. Netflix is thru the monthly Sky DD so why isn't Disney??

I don't get why Disney is an app subscription but Netflix isn't

@wilkinscat  Each app owner can decide which payment method sky has to apply to their app

Netflix allows payment via dd whilst Disney has requested payment card

Netflix appears to be an outlier, as Discovery + and Paramount + also appear under the Sky Marketplace. Perhaps it's related to Netflix being a bundle partner for a longer period, and so are on a different billing mechanism than the others.

Having to do via card is a pain in the butt.  As and when the card details change you have to remember to tell sky

You can change the payment details yourself via your account, the same way you can change the DD details. No need to contact Sky.

Hi @KevNewMedia my Disney Plus content isn't showing up in the continue watching (it should as per Sky's release yesterday). Is this a known issue?

Sky Stream customer based in Ireland.

On Q at least it does appear, note that it won't show everything you've watched previously automatically. It will only work once you've watched something after you've linked the accounts.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I have just linked my Disney+ to my sky and I've had a £4 charge added. Surely that's not right
