Connect Sky puck to Toshiba FIRE TV
Network is connected to TV by a wire and working great.
Sky puck is connected to TV by a wire and by HDMI and the white power light is on constantly.
What do I do next please?

Namely the recovery procedure in step four
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Had to get the rubber gloves out to get enough purchase to slide the back off. Found part of the paper still left under one of the batteries. There are now two red lights visible on the side of the remote..
I've got as far as 4.5. The lights have been flashing red and orange on the puck and after about 5 mins the light is back to solid white.
Still nothing appearing on the tv screen.

@DaveKMoore By "wire" I presume you mean ethernet cable?
Simply using the term "wire" can mean just about anything.

@DaveKMoore the white light in the Puck means it's turned on . If you're not seeing anything on your tv, check the HDMI cable and make sure you've got the right HDMI input selected.
