I am thinking of coming back to Sky Stream having previously cancelled the service due to some of the issues I was having, mainly lip sync and a spinning wheel each morning when I switched it on.
My broadband is Vodafone Wi-Fi 6 Hub FTTP 150 and when I ran a test on Netflix from my tv it came back as Connection speed: 141.53 Mbps. Should this be fine to run one puck at a time.
I know from reading the forum that some people are still having issues, however people only tend to post here when they are having problems. Does anyone have any idea what percentage of customers don't have any problems.
I currently have Apple TV with tv launcher and a Now subscription for Sports and Entertainment which works flawlessly, however what I don't like is the fact that you have to keep going in and out of apps every time you want to watch something different, I much prefer Sky as the whole user interface is so much easier to navigate.

The only real difference between tvOS and SkyOS is that you get a full EPG and live channel streams that you can 'channel hop' through on Sky Stream. If you watch a lot of live TV then Sky Stream is absolutely the way to go.
SkyOS still requires you to go in and out of apps depending on what you're watching, the same as with tvOS. If you add shows to your watchlist on tvOS (the same as you do on a SkyOS playlist) then it'll open the appropriate app when you click on it. Both OS's will trigger the opening of iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, Five, etc. to playback on demand content from non-Sky sources.
Sky content on tvOS will obviously trigger the opening of the NOW app, whereas on Sky Stream it plays direct from Sky's servers.
Both systems have their merits. Both systems have their downsides. I personally prefer tvOS as it's faster, has much less advertising than SkyOS and allows the user's choice of apps to be installed. It also doesn't suffer the lip sync issues I had with Sky Stream.
SkyOS is perfect for those who love to channel hop live TV and those who watch a lot of sport. Neither of which we do in our house.

Re: Come back to Stream
Hi @Cooper+D
Broadband speed is only part of the equation. Sky say you need 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD so your speed is fine. However the quality from your puck to your router and the capability of your router is just as important as router to ISP.
I was with Vodafone and had a torrid time as their kit was awful. I've moved to EE and had no issues with 2 Glass units and 4 Pucks. All i would say is you can try. You have 31 days cooling off if it isn't working as expected. Lip sync was a bug that has been resolved and not seen on the community for a little while now.
