Cancelling rolling subs

Hi there

I signed my gf up for a stream account but it didn't include ad skipping. I thought this was only for downloaded shows rather than 'watch from start', so I was very annoyed to find this not to be the case.

The app offers two months free, so we've added that, but do I have to give a month's notice to cancel it if I don't want to pay the ridiculous £5 surcharge, or just do it before the end of the two month period?

I was worried you'd say that. So I'm the future if I want to subscribe to sky cinema for a month over Christmas, for example, I have to cancel the same day I subscribe to avoid being charged for two months?

The offer of free ad skipping for 2-3 months will usually reappear on the MySky app the day after your previous offer ends so you can keep reapplying it. This works for UHD/Atmos too. I did this for the last 9 months of having Stream. You just need to set reminders to cancel just as the last month begins to avoid being charged.

Just cancel anytime within the final month of the two month offer, even up to the last day of the offer.

That is how Stream works with monthly rolling for Ad Skipping, Whole Home, UHD and Dolby.

Do this within the MySky app, under My Products > Manage Home Setup>
It will ask you to confirm.

Just done the same for my second lot of free offer for Ad skipping offer.

You will notice it does the change straight away and will show straight away in your future bills. You will see text on your current bill, showing the cancellation.

Also, the ad skipping will show it ends in your Manage Home Setup section.

Then once your offer has ended, you may be offered another few months. Look for it in your Manage Home Setup section.

Yiu do not need to give 31 days notice.
