You could try rebooting the stream puck by unplugging it for a couple of minutes and see if that helps.
Alternatively check the remote. Open up the back where the batteries go and make sure the whit stab that you need to pull off is removed and has been completely removed. Some customers find the white tab doesn't pull off properly so half of it that resides inside the battery compartment is still there once they have pull off the tab.
