Can I control my dad’s sky stream from elsewhere?

My dad has just got Sky Stream to watch Sky Sports but at 76 he's really struggling to control the tv and put the channels on that he wants. I'm having to travel up there to put his tv on the right channel everyday. Is there any way I can log into his system remotely from my house and control it from there for him? Thanks

I thought stream has voice control, so all he needs do is say what channel, then press ok...?

Or unless I'm wrong, I thought skygo gave the chance to switch TV channels

@cliff53  I can't confirm either way but regardless op would have to be on same network as father which is not going to be possible

No need to press OK🤔

Just press and hold the microphone button and say the channel name e.g. C N N😉

Yeah.... that was the whole reason we got sky Stream for him to use that function but he's really struggling to use it. He presses the button then lifts it up and lets go before he's finished speaking... (believe me I'm tearing my hair out!!)
