Hello! I've recently moved over from Sky Q to Sky Stream and have BT Broadband. I have a BT Sports subscription via BT which allows me access to the BT Sport App and channels via BT TV (which I don't use).
I wanted to get that moved over to a package that allows me to use the BT sport channel on Sky but when I go via BT, who are offering it for £20 compared to Sky's £27, it asks me for a Viewing Card number.
Now, obviously there is no viewing card number for stream, but is there a virtual card number somewhere I can use that I'm missing?
If not, would I be able to use Sky Q viewing card number I had, as that is still showing as active product during the crossover period, to get the subscription started and then use it via Stream?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@jrr87 you can't transfer any subscription from bt tv, you would have to signup directly with sky and cancel your subscription with bt
if you had bt sports on Q whilst paying bt direct that would have been able to be transferred over , but has you already have stream this can't now be done

Thanks, so my Sky Q subscription is still active and I can still watch it (as in its not been shut off yet). If I subscribe to bt sports on sky sports through the bt website using the Q viewing card number, any reason why it wouldn't then activate on my sky stream boxes?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@jrr87 How long ago did you order stream and are you currently using it?
if you already have ordered stream and have activated it you won't be able to place any orders via the Q service as it will already be in a state of cancellation

Hmmm OK. The bt page only asks me to enter my viewing card number to get the order completed and thought with the Q box still working then it might be OK.
Stream arrived on Friday but, as seems to the case with most people, only today after a couple of back office escalations have things started working.
If what you're saying is accurate it's not great as the sky price is £7 then £10 more expensive to get bt sport on the pucks.

This is a joke as if stream isn't a rip off enough now you can't even use your BT sport subscription on an app well done sky you and BT are as bad auls Rach other

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTry to get a deal with BT for TNT Sports as it is called now. I have it through BT and you can use Discovery + app on your Stream/Q/Glass to get TNT Sports in HD/UHD HDR10 on all devices. If you gave BT Broadband you can get a good deal. I pay £12 for TNT Sports but I have BT Halo3+. You don't need an HD or Ultimate pack.
